Student Task: Create original harmonious Headers for every page on your Digital Portfolio
Rationale: You want to stand out, this means your website needs to be built with unique photos and fonts, not STOCK.
Assessment Criteria:
1st Steps of this Project:
- High quality image that visually represents the content to the class (Is it blurry, pixelated, or warped?)
- Specific, Readable, Class Title that is Visually Harmonious to the Content covered in each class

How to Install FONTS on your computer:

1. Create a "Headers Project" folder inside your main Server Folder.
2. Create a "Font" folder in your Server Folder so that if you move computers, your fonts go with you. Please note that moving to a different computer during this project will make you (really me) re-install that font on each new computer you sit at. 3. Download & Install a font that visually represents every class. Make sure the font you choose is visually harmonious to the content covered in that class. 4. SAVE AS high resolution photos to your "headers Project" folder on the server. 5. Watch all 3 videos below on how to Create Headers from Scratch in Photoshop. ***By the end of class next Tuesday (Oct. 10th), you should have an original, creative, header for each page on your digital portfolio that is ready to be critiqued on Thursday (Oct. 12th). REQUIRED Headers: HOMEPAGE (ninth grade isn't a page) Digital Art Foundations Humanities Physics Math 1 Spanish (only if you are taking it) Electives, (not PA) Not a freshman? Name your pages specially to what you are actually taking please. |

Student Task: Evaluate your process. Are you caught up? Use the list below to see if you are ready for Thursday's class.
IF you answered YES to all of the questions above you are ready for class on Thursday! If you answered no, then please get to work. If you need help, please come to office hours tonight, 3:30 - 4:30 to get caught up!
- Does your DP title read, "your First and Last Name's Digital Portfolio?"
- Is your DP Published? Standard URL? ex: roxymcknightsdigitalportfolio.weebly.com?
- Does your DP have a home page?
- Does your DP have a non-clickable menu for your classes? ex: 9th grade or 10th grade, etc... (it isn't a page, just a drop down menu for your classes)
- Does your DP have a page for all your classes?
- Does your home page have your "Why Animas" update? Including a title, image, and your 150-200 word paragraph/essay?

Student Tasks: Utilize google drive as a support for your website creation. Type your paragraph in a Google Doc (spell check and word count). Copy and paste onto your homepage when you are finished. Obtain at least one peer critique today.
